The glass ‘kesäkeittiö’ – Finnish for summer kitchen – serves as a relaxation area after the sauna and is equipped with a sofa bed that can be converted into an optional sleeping space for two people. You can completely relax in the luxurious sauna, with double shower and toilet. Cool off in the lake in the summer or just roll in the snow in the winter!

Or enjoy the beautiful nature while hiking in other seasons. Or visit the spectacular Korouoma canyon with its frozen waterfalls, where daredevils test their ice climbing technique. If you fancy dining in a nice restaurant for a change, head to Restaurant Tapio, well hidden in the woods around Posio. In this restaurant, which is number 20 on the list of Finland’s Best Restaurants (2021), you can enjoy surprising dishes prepared with pure ingredients from the region.
